works well for one person July 28, 2010 Kitty O'Callaghan The cuff is such that one person can operate the apparatus. Meter is easy to read. Fast service and reasonable price. No need for batteries. Product registration and BP chart was included with package. Directions for use were clear and easy to follow. Was what I expcted.
easy to use but breaks January 7, 2010 Karen Knudsen (Seattle, WA) It was easy to use but it didn't work for that long before it broke. I bought 2 of them over a period of time and they each died.
Not worth the money for something that doesn't work. i know how to care for them so it wasn't me that broke it.
Works good but poor quality. September 3, 2009 R. Garth 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
If you want a nice backup BP monitor then this unit is for you, I would not recommend it as a primary BP unit for anyone with High Blood pressure, but it is very low in priced and is pretty accurate unit that just lack durability.
BTW I personaly do not trust Digital units because you really have no idea if they are reading correctly, while with the Analog units you have your own ears to verify the reading.
The quality of construction with this unit is very poor, but it will do the Job and should last at least 1 year if you use it lightly and thats about all you can ask for at this price
Poor Quality May 9, 2008 J. Beckman (Seattle, WA USA) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
As someone else said in regard to this item, "You Get What You Pay For." This item isn't worth that. The item states "Professional Quality." Yeah right. This item is made in China, and appears cheap and of poor quality in every way. Mine arrived with a cracked lens on the aneroid gauge. The eartips on the stethoscope are just awful! They are so painfully hard that my blood pressure went up just having them jabbing at my ears. My ears still hurt and it's been at least 20 minutes since I boxed it back up and requested a refund from Amazon.
WHAT YOU PAY IS WHAT YOU GET! March 6, 2008 AddictedToShop (Valencia, CA) 0 out of 2 found this review helpful
I just got this product few days ago and I just returned it back today because of 3 things:
1) The product is defective. I just have to pay for the return shipping but I was told that they would reimburse it.
2) The eartips of the stethoscope is not just firm, its too hard that it hurts my ears.
3) The diaphragm of the stethoscope is attached to the sphygmo so if I want to use a different stethoscope, I can't because it's stitched to the cuff.
BEWARE: DO NOT BUY...
Lesson learned: That what you pay is what you get. Next time, I'd rather pay more for a better quality.
