I looked at so many different meters, at all different prices. I read all the reviews I could and after all this, I was confused. So I started again and finally bought this one. Very glad I did. This meter meets the basic requirements I had; it is accurate, checked in doctor's office and hospital; it is well constructed; it cuts off in a short time after you put it down and the cover is outstanding little addition. I would recommend this to all that are in the market

This portable Pulse Oximeter is affordable and yet it serves its purpose. The only thing that amuses me is that you really have to press down on the sensor to get a faster reading. Overall, I'd recommend it.

Very happy with this device. I bought this device for my Dad who has some heart problems. The device is accurate enough, 9 out of 10 times it is perfectly accurate to a point that I am satisfied with it. However keep in mind that all oximeters are effected by movement, temperatures of the fingers, and you will not get an accurate reading if you have a disorder which causes blood flow to the extremities to be lowered.
Being a diabetic, my dad has trouble with this device from time to time because his hands get cold but even then it just takes it a little longer to pick up (with 'okay' accuracy)
This item is proving to be a life saving device that is getting daily use now.
